About Juicers

All Juicers are not created equal.

When it comes to juicing, there are basically two types of juice machines that are available for you to choose from – centrifugal or masticating juice machines.

A centrifugal juicer is the most common type of juicer that you’ll often see in stores and on TV. A centrifugal juicer spins at high speeds and during the spinning motion, the vegetables that you have put down the chute are ground to a pulp. The spinning motion then forces the juice away from the pulp and the juice then pours into a bowl.

The masticating juicer will chew up the food and then push it down a tube to where it passes through a mesh on the bottom releaseiong the juice. The pulp is then pushed out of the end of the tube and into a container. Research shows that masticating juicers offer better health benefits since much more juice is extracted. These types of juicer also provide juice that stays fresh longer with more enzymes intact as well as more nutrients and minerals.
